Abstract

Human being is a social animal and he is doing business activities since ages. From the passage of time, the business activities are increasing day by day. The same has converted the modern era into era of business. Along with business, technology has also developed rapidly. Now a day countless business transactions are done in a single day and for most of these transactions technology is used. The use of electronic tools by business in developed countries has grown considerably in the past few years. So the immense use of technology in business has converted it into electronic business or e-commerce. It (e-commerce) provides several technical advantages. It utilizes a variety of technologies including electronic data interchange, electronic fund transfers, credit cards, and e-mail but apart from the advantages, it has some social implications also. In this paper agenda of e-commerce in business community is discussed.
