EFFECT OF DIFFERENT MICRONUTRIENTS ON THE PRODUCTIVITY OF BLAKGRAM (VIGNA MUNGO L.)

Abstract

In a field experiment during kharif season's of 2015, 2016 and 2018 in Sakumbhri Devi Region Saharanpur U.P., Cv Pant U-19 were grown on sandy loam soil (pH 5.6, low in N and medium in P and K) and received 15 and 25 kg zincsulphate, 5 and 10 kg borax and 1 and 2 kg sodium molybdate in particular treatments and 20 kg nitrogen, 40 kg phosphorus, 17 kg potassium and 20 kg sulphur/ha. The control received no fertilizer. Application of 5kg/ha borax and I kg/ha sodium molybdate produced the highest mean seed Yield of 385 kg/ha and 543 kg / ha, respectively which was 48.47 and 37.81 per cent higher than the control (394 kg/ha). Application of 5kg/ha borax gave the highest economic return with a magnitude of superiority of 17.39 per cent as compared to control. Key words: Micronutrients, Productivity, Blackgram
