PHYSICAL ABILITIES OF 10M AIR RIFLE FEMALE SHOOTERS OF INTERNATIONAL AND INTER UNIVERSITY LEVELS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY

The purpose of the present study was to compare the physical abilities (balance ability and hand reaction time) of the shooters of International and Interuniversity levels. The subjects of the study were ten International and ten Interuniversity level female shooters. The research tools used in the present study wereStork Stand test recorded in seconds and Nelson Hand Reaction time test recorded in centimeters. The performance of the subjects was statistically analyzed using‘t’ test. The statistical analysis of the study revealed that International female shooterswere significantly superior to that of Interuniversity level female shooters in balance ability whereas Interuniversity level female shooters had a significantly better performance inhand reaction time.
