Abstract
Anthropology is an inclusive, comparative study of human society from prehistoric origins to the present. Anthropologists have defined tribes through their perspectives and also tried to explain its peculiar cultural practices. The religious practises among tribes differ accordingly, and many tribal population does not believe in following mainstream religions such as Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism in Indian context.
