Abstract

Blood is taken as a viscoelastic fluid. The dependence of fluid viscoelasticity on the kinematics of the fluid, has been investigated for a second-grade viscoelastic fluid. Analytical solution of the problem is made taking into consideration the second grade fluid model. The study reveals that the flow velocity increases with the increase in viscoelastic coefficient.
