Abstract

Bancassurance is meeting of both words that the Banking Industry and the Insurance Industry. Bancassurance is a consequence of the appearance of giant financial companies capable of rendering a wide range of financial services with growth and capital commitment. Bancassurance has an ability to strengthen economy and boost economic and social development in India through increased penetration of insurance products. This article attempts to explore information about Bancassurance structural base in India and its benefits and limitations.
