Abstract

Environment oriented politics is of relatively a new origin. Certain concrete environmental issues such as climate change, deforestation, acid rain, species loss, ozone depletion, pesticide poisoning, genetically modified foods etc. inevitably led to the emergence of newer environmental movements with its influential presence in the civil and political society.
