Abstract

Agriculture is the mainstay for the population of Haryana state of India. Most of the population depends on agriculture sector for its food-requirement, employment etc. During some recent decades, there has been tremendous improvement in the agriculture sector of the state due to the efforts made by government at all level. Minimum support price for agricultural produce has been one of the major components of the government efforts put fourth in the direction of the development of the agricultural sector as well as to bring the desirable change in area under different crops.
