Abstract

Humanism is a philosophical and ethical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively, and regards human beings as most important in the universe. Indian Constitution is based on the principle of Humanism. The Preamble of the Constitution enshrines the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity which are the core principles of humanism.
