Abstract

India must qualitatively improve education in general and higher education in particular through research and development. India's higher education system ranks third in the world, behind China and the United States. India has made contentious progress in the education sector since its independence. Even though the Indian higher education system has faced numerous obstacles, there are numerous opportunities to overcome these obstacles and improve the system.
