Abstract

The study has primarily focused on the general concept of Green Bonds and their impact side. In 2008, when the world bank first issued Green Bonds for institutional investors, and between the years 2008 to 2020, the world bank issued green bonds of $ 14.4 bn to support 111 projects. In India green bonds market has been rapid growth for the last 10 years, when it sees the last few years’ green bonds data, it found that the green bond markets have increased year by year with help from the SEBI and world bank.
