Abstract

The most challenging issue that humans are currently dealing with is climate change. People are more aware of environmental issues and are concerned about their effects. Government, direct polluters, and other stakeholders including financial institutions all have a part in this, as do others. This also applies to banks, whose operations have a significant external impact on them even though they are not directly tied to the environment.
