Abstract

Motherhood is a joyous period because she is the only one who can give birth to a new life. Women, who have been granted life, are at risk of losing it during childbirth. Postnatal care is one of the most important maternal health care interventions for preventing damage and disability after childbirth. The aim of this study to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching program versus traditional method of demonstration on knowledge regarding postnatal care among nursing students.
