Abstract

Bone health depends on healthy eating practices. To maintain adult bone mass, one has to consume between 1000 and 1200 milligrams of calcium every day. Low-fat milk, yoghurt, and juices are excellent calcium sources, while those 50 and older need to consume 800 to 1000 IU of calcium daily to maintain optimal bone health.
