THE INNER SHELL IONIZATION CROSS SECTIONS OF MANGANESE ATOM DUE TO ELECTRON IMPACT

Abstract

The theoretical modified Khare model has been employed to calculate the cross sections for K-shell and L-shell ionization of manganese (Mn, Z=25) atom due to electron impact at incident electron energy from ionization threshold to 100 MeV. The calculated cross sections were compared with available previous theoretical and experimental data. A remarkable agreement was found between present predictions and other theoretical cross sections and experimental data.
