Abstract

Small and Medium Scale Industries and the banking system are integrated to each other. It is beyond the imagination to provide pace in the advancement of SMEs without the banks. Not only in India, but all over the world there is a collaboration between the two. In India also, the banks play pivotal roles in the upbringing of this sector. And on other hand, the SMEs growth results in increase of employment, and import and export of the manufactured goods. With such a vast criterion, SMEs remains one of the most reviewed topics in literature, especially when its impact on all kinds of economic growth cannot be overruled. But without finance, SMEs cannot expand themselves to compete in the global markets.
