RELATION OF EASE OF DOING BUSINESS AND FDI

Abstract

FDI plays a quintessential role in faster development of country since it involves transfer of technology and investment of funds in another country. Skills, knowledge, latest innovations, and research are transferred. To attract foreign direct investment, ease of doing business plays a paramount role. This paper examines the relationship of two variables namely, FDI and Ease of doing Business in India. The correlational study has been done between these two variables. Ease of doing business index rank improves, when it goes downward (for example from 66 to 33), it represents improved doing business index rank.
