Abstract

The study attempted to investigate attitudes towards field excursions in biological science and academic achievement at a higher secondary level. Five research hypotheses guided the study. To realize this purpose, descriptive survey research methods were conducted. The sample of the study was comprised of 289 biological science higher secondary level students and 50 biological science teachers randomly selected from some districts of West Bengal. The data was collected from the teachers and students by administering self-made tools. The collected data was statistically analysed through descriptive statistics, z-test, and Pearson correlation.
