Abstract

Organic farming system is growing as an alternative farming system both at the national and international level. Productivity and profitability through price premium are the most attracting factors towards organic farming system. Present study analysed the viability of irrigated and non-irrigated farming system of commercial crop such as organic coffee in Kerala. Considering the geographic concentration and available statistics, the data on organic coffee cultivation is collected from Wayanad districts of Kerala which is predominantly cultivating Organic Coffee in the state of Kerala.
