Abstract

Mokaddis et al. [3] have discussed characteristics of man-machine system subject to different weather conditions. Pandey and Kalra [5] introduced the concept of circumstantial failure. Further it is observed that the weather conditions are fairly responsible for causing environmental circumstantial failures. Present paper extends the work of [3] by introducing failure due to CF with a motive of obtaining more realistic estimates. The authors have also compared the numerical estimates of their result with those of Mokaddis, justifying the role played by CF.
