Jharkhand was formed 21 years ago and had a lot of potential to be one of the richest States because of its mineral reserves. But the reality is exactly the opposite. Majority of the rural population is below the poverty line and do not have the access to basic civic amenities. The main aim the research paper is to find out the efficiency of the Budgetary allocations and the impact of Rural Development Programs on actual development of Jharkhand.
