Abstract

Bihar is very much adaptive region for paddy cultivation, yet it is considered as the backward region of India. Thus the objective of this paper is to analysis the paddy production in Bihar through input output analysis along with well known Cobb-Douglas production function. This paper has to try to justify the backwardness of paddy cultivation in Bihar.
