Abstract

This paper deals with heat and mass transfer effects on free convection flow of a visco-elastic fluid inside a porous vertical channel with constant suction and heat sources. The problem is formulated with the development of constitutive eqn of continuity, eqn of motion, eqn of energy and eqn of concentration. These eqn s are solved by small parameter perturbation technique. Expressions for velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction, the rates of heat transfer and the concentration gradient are obtained.
