Abstract

Opportunity of articulation and the press lies at the establishment of every single vote-based association, and the press has an extraordinary task to carry out in giving a gathering to free political conversations for the correct working of the cycles of a famous government. To save the popularity-based lifestyle which is conceived under the Indian Constitution, it is basic that individuals ought to have the opportunity to communicate their emotions and have the occasion to make their perspectives known and dispersed to the individuals on the loose.

Article 19 runs as follows : 
(1) All citizens shall have the right— 
(a) to freedom of speech and expression; 
(2) Nothing in sub-clause (a) of clause (1) “shall affect the operation of any 
existing law, or prevent the State from making any law, in so far as such 
law imposes reasonable restrictions on the exercise of the right conferred by 
the said sub-clause in the interests of the sovereignty and integrity of India, 
the security of the State, friendly relations with foreign States, public order, 
decency or morality, or in relation to contempt of court.
