Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of physical training table card no.2 on strength endurance ability of school students (boys). To achieve the purpose of the study, it was carried out in govt. sr. sec. school in taoru , mewat (Haryana) .Twenty (40) boys age 14 to19 years were randomly assigned two groups e.g. Experimental group and Control group consists of 20 students. Pre-test and post test with the use strength endurance ability test battery for the assessment of the following variables-1. Chin up 2. Toe touch. 3. 100M sprint run. 4. 2.4 Kms run 5. Bent knee sit ups 6. 5 meters shuttle run. . Experimental group has received an eight week physical training table card programme . Control group did not participate in any of the training programme. After the experimental period is over, the subjects of all the groups were post tested with the strength endurance ability Test Battery. The data were analysed primarily by the descriptive statistics and ‘t’ value was used. The significance was set at 0.05 levels. Physical training tables techniques are used by coaches , physical teachers and trainers in all types of sports to increase strength endurance .Physical training tables consists of 1. warming up and endurance- jogging , running, recovery.2. strength endurance- lateral, dorsal , skipping, jumping, push ups, sprint, sit ups, heaving work, sprint, rope climbing ,lifting and carrying, pulling and pushing and competitive game . 3. Cooling down. The physical table cards are designed to produce mobility, strength, endurance, agility and speed. A duration of 40 minutes is required for the exercises of any table card. The table card has a variety of activities to sustain the interest of the players and for inducing harmonious development.
