Abstract
Seasonality is a peculiar characteristics in agriculture and is a major cause of fluctuation in the prices of agricultural commodities. Fluctuation in prices of agricultural commodities increase price risk and accordingly the producer farmers, middlemen and the government adopt risk averting strategies in agricultural marketing.
