This paper addresses the quality of life which includes income, education, social, and housing status in Beedi industry with reference to the women Beedi rollers, and at the same it explains about the socio and economic conditions of the women Beedi rollers in the industry and degree of exploitation among the different social groups by the settedars (Owners of Beedi Company) in the sample villages.Throughout the study, it was seen that the Beedi producers were keeping up records of the wagespaid to the assembly line labourers and the Beedi rollers who were straight forwardly utilized bythem, in any case, the records for Beedi rollers connected with by the contractors were not kept upappropriately as they were working outside the mechanical premises. As the installments weremade through contractors to the Beedi specialists, there are abundant odds of abuse of the Beedilabourers. Women in this sector are severely exploited. Sattedars always tried to take the advantage of theirsocial, economic, cultural and gender background. There is always favoritism towards thesimilar caste and little well off families and senior employees.
