Abstract
The number of female police constables has increased significantly in the last two decades. Since policing is traditionally a male-dominated environment, female police constables could face potential gender-based barriers in the workforce. Despite this, the number of female police constables continue to join the police force. This research study emphasizes on workplace problems of women police constables in north eastern range of Karnataka. This article identified the work place problems and issues of women police constables in north eastern range of Karnataka. Using a exploratory research method, researcher has interviewed 205 women police constables to describe the various issues associated with workplace problems of women police constables.
