Abstract

The handicraft has partially lost its value in an economic struggle with the new rising industrial society. As the machines are competing with human resource fullness; hence there is dearth in preservation of the crafts. The Gotta work of Rajasthan is one amongst the many that have undergone the same changes. The craft has got completely diluted in terms of its technique and motifs to cater the demands of the society; thereby losing its originality.
